Where to Stay for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games

Airbnb Throughout Northern Italy

As an official Worldwide Partner of the International Olympic Committee, Airbnb is playing a central role in welcoming the world to Italy for the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. To mark the Games, Airbnb has launched a dedicated microsite.

The site highlights curated stays near Olympic and Paralympic venues and showcases “Guest Favorite” listings in both Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. The interface allows users to explore by destination and even filter by proximity to competition venues or ceremony locations.

Presents on this Olympic page a range of lodging options designed for every need. You can get a ski chalet in Cortina d’Ampezzo, right on the snow, starting at around €1600 per night, an attic apartment with panoramic Dolomite views, from 800€ per night or a modern studio apartment in Milan, near San Siro or the Porta Venezia district, for about 120–140€ per night.

This initiative reinforces Airbnb’s mission to make global events more inclusive and sustainable, inviting travelers to “stay near the action” and hosts to open their doors to the world during one of the most anticipated celebrations in Italy’s history.

Milan

NEMI Hotel

Location: Via Benvenuto Cellini 14, Milan (MI)

Recently opened in February 2025, NEMI is one of Milan’s newest design-driven hotels. Set in a quiet residential corner of the city, it mixes a blue-and-green palette with clean, contemporary lines that give the impression of staying in a stylish Milanese friend’s apartment. Rooms are larger than the Milan average and well-insulated, offering a genuinely good night’s sleep. The hotel’s Forte Restaurant, Lounge & Bar focuses on fresh seafood, displayed daily on ice, and its outdoor garden is a pleasant spot for lunch or an early evening aperitivo.

For Olympic travelers, San Siro, host of the Opening Ceremony, is about 20 minutes away by car. NEMI is offering a special “Stay in the Game” package during the Winter Games: five nights, a sports-inspired welcome cocktail, dedicated concierge support, a surprise in-room amenity and late check-out when available. Rates start at 512€ per night.

Hotel Calimala

Location: Via Melzo, 7, Milan

Set in the lively Porta Venezia neighborhood, known for its elegant 19th-century buildings, leafy boulevards, and an excellent mix of cafés and independent boutiques, Calimala Milano also offers easy access to Corso Buenos Aires, one of Europe’s longest shopping streets. The hotel’s interiors reinterpret mid-century Milanese style through clean geometric lines, warm wood tones, textured stone surfaces and a palette of deep greens and soft neutrals that creates a calm, contemporary feel. Its 88 rooms are streamlined and functional, with well-insulated windows, quality bedding and modern bathrooms finished with terrazzo-style surfaces and brushed metal accents.

The top-floor rooftop terrace includes an outdoor pool and a Pool Bar with open views over the city, an unusual perk in this part of Milan. On the ground floor, the Garden Café serves relaxed breakfasts and light meals in a bright indoor-outdoor setting.

From Porta Venezia, reaching the Olympic venues is straightforward: about 30 minutes to San Siro Stadium and 15 minutes to PalaItalia by car or taxi, with the M1 metro line just a short walk paway. For the Olympic period, rates typically start around $558 per night.

Guest rooms showcase terrazzo flooring, bold patterned rugs, and eye-catching bathrooms accented with tinted glass and hand-painted ceilings. Ideally situated, the property is roughly 20 minutes by car from both San Siro and PalaItalia, where most of the Olympics events in Milan will take place. Rates are upon request, with starting prices generally around $585 per night with breakfast.

Casa Brivio

Location: Via Carlo Ottavio Cornaggia 12, Milan (MI)

Casa Brivio offers a sleek, modern stay in the heart of Porta Venezia, ideal for travelers who prefer independence over full-service hotel amenities. The property feels more like a stylish Milan pied-à-terre than a traditional hotel: there’s no breakfast service or proper lobby, but the rooms are beautifully designed with clean lines, quality materials, excellent bedding and well-planned lighting.

Guests will find plenty of convenience right outside the door, including one of the neighborhood’s best high-end grocery stores, perfect for grabbing prepared meals or snacks between Olympic events. Porta Venezia also offers fast transit connections and an easy walk to cafés, wine bars and the city’s public gardens.
