How To Get Tickets To The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games

The Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics will take place from February 6 to 22, 2026, followed by the Paralympic Games from March 6-15. If you’re dreaming of watching the world’s top winter athletes compete in Italy this winter, here’s what you need to know to secure your tickets. Sales opened earlier this year and are released in several rounds, with the next session opening on November 12, 2025, at 1 p.m. CET on the official ticketing website. If you miss this, don’t worry, an official ticketing resale platform will debut in December 2025.

All tickets are sold exclusively online through the official Milano Cortina 2026 platform and buyers can register for free to get access when the sale reopens. Updates and reminders are shared through the official FAN26 community and registering is a great way to stay in the loop. Tickets are available either directly through the ticketing platform or as part of official hospitality packages, offered by On Location. These packages combine guaranteed event access with premium travel experiences such as lodging, local transport and curated cultural activities.

Olympic tickets start at 30€, each account may purchase up to 25 tickets overall, with a limit of 10 per session and 4 for opening or closing ceremonies. According to the official price list (PDF), each Olympic event offers different ticket categories based on seat location and demand. Category A tickets are the most premium, placing spectators closest to the action or offering the best views: think center ice for hockey or front-row seats at figure skating. Category B provides a balanced option, while Category C and D include the most affordable seats.

To give you an idea, prices for men’s hockey events range from about 30 € (Category C) to 1,400€ (Category A) for the final. In alpine skiing, expect tickets between 100€ and 220€, depending on the vantage point, and if you’re lucky, you might snag a place with a perfect view of the Dolomites. The Opening Ceremony at San Siro Stadium starts at around 260€, offering fans a spectacular start to the Games.

All tickets are digital and nominative. Buyers must assign a name to each ticket, but name changes will be free and available through the official Milano Cortina app starting in December 2025.  Tickets will also be available for resale starting December 2025.

Be sure to buy only through official sources. Tickets are sold solely via the Milan Cortina platform or through verified On Location hospitality packages, so when in doubt, check the source before you buy.
