Corinthia Lake Como: The New Luxury Resort Coming to Menaggio by 2028

By 2028, the exclusive Corinthia Lake Como resort will open its doors in Menaggio, with sight set on becoming one of the most sought-after destinations in the area. Neighboring the second oldest golf course in Italy, this 58-room resort will offer a panoramic location at the foot of the Prealps. The announcement, made by Corinthia Hotels, comes as they join forces with RoundShield and Kervis SGR to create a project that combines luxury hospitality, preservation of historical heritage, and a focus on the natural landscape.

Enhancing the Lake Como Territory

The Corinthia Lake Como will be the brand’s second location in Italy and aims to create a hotel that celebrates the beauty and authenticity of the lake. “Lake Como is one of the most admired destinations in the world. We want to create a hotel that celebrates its beauty and authenticity,” stated Simon Casson, CEO of Corinthia Hotels. The project includes a unique architecture that combines the restoration of historical buildings with new structures perfectly integrated into the landscape. The common areas will be spread across three villas, housing the lobby, lounge, and golf club, all with stunning views of the mountains and lake. The rooms and suites will be inspired by the understated charm of the surrounding villages and the elegance that has made Menaggio famous.

Luxurious Spa, Beach Club, and Fine Dining

The resort will offer a multi-level experience for its guests. In addition to the 58 rooms, the Corinthia Lake Como will also feature a high-end spa with wellness experiences, gourmet restaurants, lounge spaces, and a beach club on the western shore waterfront. The partnership with the historic Menaggio golf course, the second oldest in Italy, is to make it a destination that will attract an international clientele in search of exclusive experiences in one of the world’s most celebrated landscapes.
