Historic maison adds new chapter to their story
For over a century, craftsmanship and beauty have spoken the same language. The exquisite artistic design and detail put into each piece of Fratelli Piccini jewelry is beyond exceptional. They have mastered the art of timeless elegance – while continuing to evolve.
Four generations of a family of Florentine jewellers whose lives have always been bound to the soul of Ponte Vecchio. Since 1903, the Piccini family has carried forward a legacy of craftsmanship, passion, and timeless beauty — creating jewels that hold the spirit of Florence within their light.
Now, a new chapter unfolds — where tradition meets the brilliance of tomorrow.
The new Fratelli Piccini Jewellers Atelier is a project by Antonio Facco Studio & Eugene Pertsula crafted by Arredolegnodesign. This elegant location is at Via Roma 23r, overlooking the Baptistery and the Duomo of Florence, on one of the city’s most glamorous streets.
A contemporary tribute to the creative mastery of Italian high craftsmanship. The most distinctive feature of the design is the contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional tenda parasole—an element that has always characterized the image of the shops on the Ponte Vecchio—which becomes the leitmotif of the new atelier. The soft, undulating line of an elegant sheet of amber-toned, satin-finished copper—embracing the precious internal showcases—creates an ideal and contemporary continuity between the two places.
To celebrate the opening of the new Fratelli Piccini Atelier at Via Roma 23, an event was just hosted with an exclusive premiere dinner for the press inside the Officine Gullo showroom. The evening featured a special show-cooking experience by Chef Riccardo Canella, creating a unique blend of craftsmanship, taste, and storytelling.
