Luxury fashion house Hermès has announced the appointment of Paola Triolo as the new head of its Italian subsidiary, effective September 1, 2025. This marks a significant leadership transition after nearly two decades under the guidance of Francesca di Carrobio. See below for more fashion news resources.
Triolo, a luxury industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, joined Hermès in 2015 as the Chief Information Officer. With a background in economics from Milan’s Bocconi University, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role as Managing Director and CEO of Hermès Italy and Greece.
Triolo takes over from Francesca di Carrobio, who has been the CEO of Hermès Italy since 2005. Di Carrobio played a crucial role in expanding the brand’s presence in the region, overseeing the opening of twelve boutiques in Italy and Greece. Carrobio will continue to be involved in the group’s strategic direction as the Chief Strategic Affairs and Group Relations Officer, as well as the President of Hermès Italy Operations.
This leadership transition reflects Hermès’ commitment to maintaining a strong presence in the Italian and Greek markets, known for their luxury industries. The appointment of Triolo, with her extensive experience and knowledge of the industry, is a testament to the brand’s continued growth and success in the region.
