Eagerly anticipated second album will be released September 12th
When your father is the legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli and you follow in his footsteps – fans expect a lot. And as always, 27-year-old tenor Matteo delivers. For his new album, Matteo co-wrote all the original songs with acclaimed writers including Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran), Toby Gad (Beyoncé, John Legend), Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, James Morrison), Iain Archer (Snow Patrol, Jake Bugg), and Johan Carlsson (Ariana Grande, Maroon 5). His talented musicianship shines throughout the album with his voice and piano playing blending sound drawing from a rich tapestry of influences.
Recorded in his Tuscan home in the heart of Italy, the album blends Matteo’s rich classical roots with modern pop influences, capturing the spirit of timeless romance through a contemporary lens.
Bocelli announced U.S. tour dates for his “Falling in Love World Tour.” The 14-date tour kicks off in New York City at Gramercy Theatre on Sept. 11.
